Sept. 20/27
River City West Nebraska Trail Ride.  Starts in Arnold, NE and ends in Omaha.  First four days we ride on sand pasture, ranches – all with a great view.  $145 adults; $75 for children under 12.  (Daily up to 3 days: $30 adult/$13 child after which it is a full week charge).  Two meals a day for 7 days.  Three or 4 nights live country music.    Must register before the ride:  Contact Marty & Judy Kluthe, PO Box 16, Clarkson, NE 68629.  Phone 402.270.5641 or 402.892.3710. .

River City Rodeo and Stock Show
Northeast Trail Ride.  Starting in Wisner, NE, making our way to Omaha and ending with the Aksarben’s Heritage Parade.  *Fun   *Camaraderie   *Memories.   $145 for adults; $75 for children under 12. Hastings Saddle Club Fall Saddle Up for St Jude
Location:  Liberty Cove NRD Area near Lawrence, NE
General Information:  Minimum $15 donation requested.  Donation collection sheets available.  Check-in table at the parking area from 1-2 pm.  Guided ride which will depart at 2 pm and ride Lake area/Private property.  Light campfire meal to follow.  Silent Auction, proceeds benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Restrooms available at parking/meal area. Non-Riders:  Wagon Seats may be available.  Call for details. Name : Outlaw Trail ride
Location: Valentine, NE
The Outlaw Trail Scenic Byway and AQHA/NQHA Trail Ride Program will co-host an Outlaw Trail Ride Thursday, October 9 - Sunday October 12 in conjunction with the 23th Annual Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Old West Days at Valentine, NE.

Name of Ride or Event:  Hastings Saddle Club:  Spooky Trail Challenge & Poker Ride
Location:  Lazy AA Farm (Andersen’s) 370 W Silverlake Rd, Blue Hill, NE 68930
Ride is 1pm-5pm Cost:  $20 includes meal to follow and 1 hand of poker.
Check-in table near the parking area from 12-1 pm—additional poker hands available for $5.
Prizes for best hands and door prizes!
Guided ride which will depart at 1 pm and ride all Private property, do not bother the cows and stay with the group—there is NO Road riding.  Group will stop and allow members to negotiate trail obstacles but you can pass, they will not be judged.  Just for fun!  At the periodic ‘stops’ you will have an opportunity to ‘draw’ your next card for the Poker Ride.  
Campfire & Meal to follow at the home of Jenny & Charlee Andersen.   
Restrooms available at meal area.  Please be respectful of private property/Cattle
Non-Riders:  Wagon Rides may be available. Call for details. Meal is accessible by vehicle and you are welcome to join us for the meal, arrive at 5 pm.
